Shore Excursion Description
Meet your private driver at the port today for your full day tour of Portugal's second largest city. Built on the right bank of the Douro River, Porto is a colourful city featuring the old and the new. Its winding, hilly and narrow streets are a complement to its wide modern Avenues which spread out to the suburbs. You'll get to join a 50-minute panoramic boat cruise down the Duoro River, followed by a visit to the Port Wine cellars at Vila Nova de Gaia. You'll continue through the main avenue of Porto, Aliados Avenue, where you'll spot the Clerigos Tower, as well as one of the main monuments of the city: the Porto Cathedral. Lunch will be provided midday on your tour (included). Enjoy an entrance to the cloisters of Sao Francisco Church before returning back to port. Includes admissions.
